Presenter Biography

All ten members of the Metro Chicago Mathematics Initiative are former classroom teachers. The MCMI team has been providing high quality mathematics professional development and coaching for administrators and teachers for over thirty years. The origins of MCMI began in 2010 as a grant funded project to improve mathematics teaching and learning in grades 6-9 throughout suburban Cook County. Our participants requested further assistance and we extended our services to include Pre-School through grade 12 througout the Chicagoland area.

Additional Qualifications

We have partnered with both the South Cook and West Cook County service centers. We have a history of providing excellent mathematics support for many districts and would like to continue partnering with the Chicago area service centers.
