Biography

Judy spent 16 years teaching Social Studies at DeKalb High School where she was also department area coordinator for many years. Most recently she was the interim director of teacher preparation for NIU’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. In that capacity she made early clinical and student teacher placements and was the coordinating instructor for the early clinical classes. Her experience includes teaching AP and inclusion classes, and being a long-time member of the school improvement team. Before deciding to teach, Judy practiced environmental law.
