Presenter Biography

Cathy Berlinger-Gustafson is on the Professional Learning Team at West40 and is a senior consultant for Learning Forward. In her work with schools, districts, and state education agencies, Cathy designs and facilitates presentations, workshops and trainings. Her work includes school and organizational change, professional development processes and systems, and coaching, as well as other topics that support continuous improvement in education.
Prior to consulting, Cathy taught elementary, middle and high school students, was an elementary principal and curriculum director. She has worked in suburban schools, urban schools and in the Department of Defense schools overseas in Okinawa, Japan and Hahn, Germany.
