Administrator Academy #2001 Initial Teacher Evaluator 2-Day Training

$400All new teacher evaluators in Illinois will need to pass an ISBE-approved administrator academy on the topic of initial Teacher Evaluation Training. This training replaces the existing initial teacher evaluation training provided through Growth through Learning CEC and TeachScape that expired on December 31, 2018. This training is a high quality, scalable, sustainable, and user focused content and delivery model.
This 2-day course and pre-work will provide participants with the knowledge to:
- Identify and disseminate minimum state requirements, performance standards, and best practices
- Facilitate a common language and dialogue around performance and its impact on school improvement, professional practice, and student outcomes
- Encourage collaboration, learning, and alignment among stakeholders
