Presenter Biography

Sarah Meador is an award winning educator from northern Illinois where she teaches science at Winnebago Middle School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University in Elementary Education, and her Master of Arts in Teaching and Leadership from Saint Xavier University. In 2015, Sarah received the Whole Brain Teacher of the Year Award, an award selected by the Executive Board and Staff of Whole Brain Teachers of America in recognition of her efforts both in and out of the classroom.

Through various organizations, including the Boone/Winnebago Regional Office of Education, Sarah has provided consultation and support to more than 5,000 teachers all over the country in areas of classroom management, technology integration, writing, character education, and the new Next Generation Science Standards.
