Presenter Biography

My name is Melissa Nicholas, I am the Early Childhood Behavior Health Consultant at The Regional Office of Education #33. My educational background consists of an Associates Degree in Applied Science, a Bachelors Degree in Early childhood education with an emphasis in Special Education, and a Masters Degree in Developmental Psychology for Children and Adolescents. I have worked as a Preschool teacher with Head Start and prior to that, I worked in Child Care for 3 years. Altogether I have 10 years of experience in the classroom with children 6 weeks thru preschool. I have experienced many different types of exceptionalities in the children and some with extreme negative behaviors.
