Presenter Biography

Linda Jasmin is a veteran teacher of over 20 years. Mrs. Jasmin earned a BS in Education from Illinois State University and her Master’s of Curriculum and Instruction and Master’s of Reading from Olivet Nazarene University. She began her career as a special education teacher where she taught middle school, junior high and high school. She is currently a MTSS interventionist in areas of ELA and SEL. She completed the SEL “Emotions Matter” program training at Yale University and has been an advocate and Subject Area Committee (SAC) Chairman of implementing SEL across the curriculum. Her experience in special education and as interventionist has given her a plethora of experience working with struggling learners. Her ability to find innovative ways to work with students who need coaching in the academic areas and in social emotional learning contribute to success among her students.
