Presenter Biography

Joe Cipfl is the Regional Educational Technology Coordinator in southern Illinois for the Learning Technology Center (LTC), the leading Illinois organization that delivers technology and educational services to all K-12 school districts in the state. He facilitates professional learning events regionally and statewide; provides consultation and support to school districts related to digital learning and technology integration; and develops instructional materials for school administrators, teachers, and students throughout the region and the state.

Joe has been an educator for 22 years in both K-12 and higher education in the areas of science and technology and is a frequent presenter on instructional and educational technology. He is a certified teacher, a certified school administrator, and certified Google Educator. Before his role as Regional Coordinator, Joe was a classroom science/technology teacher, department chair, university instructor, and building-level technology coordinator. He holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from McKendree University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Southern Illinois University.
