Presenter Biography

Brandy Hempen is a real classroom teacher that truly enjoys sharing her passion of education with others. She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in differentiated instruction, and a doctorate in educational technology and leadership. All of her workshops are hands-on and relate directly to the state standards. She personalizes her professional development based on the specific needs of each school. Quite often she brings elementary and middle school students along to help conduct the PD. Her main goal is to leave teachers feeling re-energized and excited for the changes they need to make to meet the needs of their 21st century learners.
