AA #2001 Illinois Performance Evaluation – Teacher Evaluation Training

This two-day academy is designed for individuals who are seeking initial training qualification for teacher evaluation. All new teacher evaluators in Illinois will need to pass AA #2001 on the topic of Initial Teacher Evaluation training. This training replaces the existing initial teacher evaluation training provided through Growth Through Learning CEC & TeachScape and aligns to the competencies for Part 50, Section 50.420 (a-b). Participants must attend both days and pass the final exam in order to receive credit.

This course will provide participants with the knowledge to:

• Identify and disseminate minimum state requirements, performance standards, and best practices
• Facilitate a common language & dialogue around performance and its impact on school improvement, professional practice, and student outcomes
• Encourage collaboration, learning, and alignment among stakeholders.

A catered lunch will be provided both days.
