“Hacking Education takes 10 challenges facing today's teachers and explores a potential hack, or
solution, for each challenge.”. This book study is for teachers who want to be school leaders and advocate
for innovative changes that will improve daily challenges that many educators encounter.
Jennifer Gonzalez author of Cult of Pedagogy is one of my favorite authors. I follow Jennifer on Twitter,
listen to her podcasts and have even taken some of her online classes. So, I am very excited to be offering

In order to participate in this book club:
You will need to register online at bhsroe.org to Kathy Martins at
email@example.com or to Dara Carr at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will need to obtain your own copy of the book, Hacking Education10 Quick Fixes for
Every School by Jennifer Gonzales and Mark Barne, prior to the start of the workshop. We will
not be purchasing books for participants.
You will need to log into the ZOOM kick-off meeting on May 4 th at 3:30 PM
You will need to post weekly to FlipGrid in response to readings starting May 4 th – June 5 st
You will need to have all required posts completed by June 5 th to receive the 8 hours of PD
Failure to complete the book study will be considered a workshop cancelation and BHS CO-OP
participants will be billed.
