Have you ever reflected on why education leaders make the decisions that they make? When faced with a decision, have you thought, “What would the profession expect me to do? What does the community expect me to do? What should I do in the best interests of students, who may be diverse in their composition and their needs?”
This course examines the role of educational leaders as they exhibit their values in making decisions and as they analyze their own decision-making mechanisms. Multi-media instruction, group discussions, and current case studies, which illustrate ethical dilemmas, are utilized to achieve the outcomes of this workshop.
